Day 5

Yesterday I looked after the kids so that Sam and her partner could go out for a run. I also cleared up the Lego from the floor and picked up loads of beads and puzzles. Then we went to the local play area and on to Curleys where I had Halumi Cheese mushrooms and curly fries! And a delicious orange and pineapple drink. They don't import fruit here as Australia has so many climate zones it can grow any fruit and vegetables needed.  This is seriously impressive. I wish the UK were more concerned with self sufficiency. For example there is no need for us to import tomatoes from Holland. We could use the same techniques they do to grow them but don't. 

When we came home I had another rest but so did everyone else. Is it the norm here to have an afternoon nap? It then poured with rain for a bit. 

Then I helped Paolo make dinner which was jackets sweet corn and mozzarella cheese.
